The hat picture, as promised. I have needed it theses past few days, but due to my sympathy for the public at large have not worn it.You can see, from the picture on the left, it has been below freezing here for a few days and the trees and hedges were covered in frost near Polebrook on Saturday morning, what a crisp morning it was too! The auction, we went to was a little disappointing, it was reminiscent of a doctors waiting room, with all the coughing and spluttering, the auctioneer even had to change over, laryngitis, I think that's how you spell it. It has been a little fresh on the old push bike these last few days, but today I did not wear my quilted trousers. The wind was against me going in, so it was a four mile ride instead of the usual two,and it took a good few minutes to get my breathe back, but the ride home only took five minutes, with the wind at my back. You can keep your clear African skies and warm sunshine!
